Lobby and Boardroom Renovation
Little Rock, Arkansas
This two-phase renovation of the Department of Education on the Capital Mall in downtown Little Rock focused on renovating the Arch Ford building in three parts. The first phase included a new entry and lobby along with an expanded boardroom. The second phase replaced all exterior windows to create a more efficient envelope.
Along with the expansion, the boardroom orientation was rotated to increase the seating capacity from 50 to 115 people. Mobile furniture and collapsible table tops allow for the space to be reconfigured quickly as the needs of the space can change based on the event that is occuring.
