Bio
Wanting to be an architect for as long as he could remember, Fred graduated from Georgia Tech’s School of Architecture prior to relocating to Arkansas. He joined together with Mike Steelman and John Connell to form SCM in 1993. Over his four decades of practice Fred has designed multiple award winning projects from the Arkansas AIA and the South Central Chapter of ASID. Fred started and grew the Interior Design studio within SCM and continues to be a invaluable resource and mentor to the young designers at the firm.
